Privacy Policy

Seed (“we”, “us”, “Seed”) operates the live streaming platform at seedstreaming.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we treat it.

1. What we collect

Account data — email, handle, display name, bio, optional avatar — supplied at sign-up and editable in settings.
Stream + chat data — titles, descriptions, category, tags, scheduled times, and messages you send during live sessions.
Follow + viewing graph — who you follow, who follows you, and which streams you joined.
Purchase data — when you buy a product or subscribe, we record the transaction id, amount, and status. Card numbers and other billing details are handled by Fanbasis and never touch our servers.
Operational logs — IP address, user-agent, timestamps, and request paths kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

2. How we use it

Provide and improve the platform.
Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
Process payments and credit creators.
Send transactional email (sign-up confirmation, receipts, security alerts).
Detect abuse and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal data, ever.

3. Sharing

Sub-processors we rely on to operate the platform: Supabase (database + auth), LiveKit Cloud (real-time video), Fanbasis (payments), Netlify (hosting). Each has its own security and privacy posture. We share only the minimum data needed for them to function.
Creators see only the public side of viewer activity — handle, display name, avatar, follower status, and whether you bought one of their products. They never see your email or billing details.
Law enforcement — we will respond to a valid subpoena or court order and notify you unless legally barred.

4. Cookies + sessions

We set first-party session cookies so you stay signed in. We use no third-party advertising cookies and run no analytics SDK in production. Browser features like “Do Not Track” are honored.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time:

Edit or delete your profile content from Settings.
Request a full copy of your data.
Request deletion of your account.
Withdraw consent to processing (note: this typically requires deleting your account).

6. Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Webhook logs and transaction records are retained for 7 years to satisfy financial recordkeeping. Deleted accounts are wiped from user-facing surfaces immediately and from backups within 30 days.

7. Children

Seed is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll remove the account.

8. International transfers

Data is processed in the United States and Australia (Supabase ap-southeast-2). By using Seed you consent to those transfers.

9. Changes

We’ll post any material change here and notify active users by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
